The Loucretia Hollingsworth Scholarship is open to Girl Scouts who have placed an emphasis on community service and reside in Baldwin, Clarke, Choctaw, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, and Washington Counties. This scholarship recipient will receive a one-time financial award.
The Ellen Autrey Anderson Girl Scout Gold Award Scholarship is open to Girl Scouts who have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, have contributed to society through their service, and have an interest in pursuing a career dedicated to helping others. This scholarship recipient will receive a one-time financial award.
The Young Leaders Lifetime Membership Award is open to Girl Scouts who have been involved in Girl Scouting leadership roles and plan to continue their involvement in Girl Scouting as an Adult Member. Two award recipients will receive a Lifetime Membership in Girl Scouts and a Lifetime Membership Pin.
The Girl Scouts of the USA Gold Award Scholarship is open to Girl Scouts who have earned the Girl Scout Gold Award and are in 12th grade (and have not previously applied for this scholarship) or high school graduates with their approved final report on file in Go Gold. (High school graduates must have earned the Gold Award after April 1, 2022 September 30, 2022.) This means:
· The Girl Scouts applying must be a high school senior at the time of scholarship application (3/15 – 4/16/23), but could have earned the Gold Award at any point in their high school tenure.
· The dates of April 1, 2022 to September 30, 2022 only apply to Girl Scouts who graduated in May/June of 2022.
This scholarship recipient will receive a one-time financial award.
To apply for the Loucretia Hollingsworth Scholarship, the Ellen Autrey Anderson Girl Scout Gold Award Scholarship, and/or the Young Leaders Lifetime Membership Award, please complete the Scholarship Application and submit additional required documents listed on the application from March 15 – April 17, 2023 via email at awards@girlscoutssa.org.
To apply for the Girl Scouts of the USA Gold Award Scholarship, GSSA staff will provide eligible applicants with a direct application link from International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. (“ISTS”) on March 15, 2023. Applications may be submitted from March 15 – April 17, 2023.
